(a) What we use right now

YardScout currently uses cookies and similar technologies for one purpose only:

(i) Site functionality. Session cookies that keep you signed in, remember your preferences (such as language), and protect against cross-site request forgery. These are required for the platform to work.

We do NOT currently use:

• Advertising or retargeting cookies
• Social-media pixels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, or others)
• Cross-site tracking technologies
• Third-party data brokers
• Marketing-automation cookies

(b) Looking ahead

As YardScout grows, we may add additional categories of cookies and tracking technologies, including:

(i) Advertising and retargeting cookies (for example, Google Ads, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag)

(ii) Aggregate usage analytics, including cookieless tools that do not set tracking cookies or collect personal identifiers (currently Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights; other examples include Plausible Analytics) as well as other analytics tools (for example, Google Analytics, Mixpanel)

(iii) Payment-processing cookies (when we begin offering paid services)

(iv) Marketing-automation and CRM cookies

(v) Customer-support tools (chat widgets, help-center embeds)

(vi) Third-party service providers we integrate with to improve the platform

If we add any of the above, we will:

• Update this Cookie Notice with the specifics
• Display a consent banner asking your permission before activating any non-essential cookies
• Honour your choice through a cookie-settings panel you'll be able to revisit at any time

(c) Controlling cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling functional cookies may break parts of the site.

You can also clear your stored cookie consent at any time by clearing your browser cookies.
